Happy November!
This month has gotten off to a terrific start! The students are learning vocabulary for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They are also learning words that deal with maintaining ones health. We are focusing on how to make adjectives plural, how to describe our likes and dislikes and how to conjugate -er and -ir verbs.
During November the students will also be working on the two verbs in Spanish that mean "to be" which are ser and estar. The students will be reviewing the conjugation as well as learning the differences between the two.
The students will take their Unit 3 test on November 9th. The students are also completing a menu project, which is also due on the 9th.
Beginning on Monday, November 12th, we will begin Unit 4. This unit deals with free time and what one might do in his or her free time. The students will learn how to conjugate the verb "ir" as well as the many questions words in the Spanish language. The students will also learn stem changing verbs as well as how to use the sentence structure "ir+a+infinitive."
November is going to be a great month!
